Angola Oil & Gas (AOG) returns to Luanda from September 3-4, providing a high-level platform for conducting business, dialogue and engagement. This year’s edition features a range of logistics and EPC companies, which are expected to drive discussions around the challenges and opportunities faced across the country’s oil and gas value chain. Speakers from Enagol, Africa Global Logistics (AGL), SAP, among others, are participating, reflecting the event’s position as the main meeting platform for the country’s oil and gas industry.
With more than 120 projects completed since the company’s creation 18 years ago, Enagol has been at the forefront of Angola’s oil and gas industry. The company provides a range of services that support oil and gas operations and recently expanded into the upstream sector through its participation in the country’s 2023 licensing round. AGL has been expanding its presence in Africa in recent years through modernized logistics infrastructure and improved port operations. In Angola, the company has a strong presence, with a track record of providing turnkey logistics management solutions. In 2024, the company launched operations at the Lobito Terminal in Angola. The terminal can accommodate large-capacity vessels and can handle more than one million tons of bulk cargo and 100,000 TEU containers annually. João Eanes, Industry Value Adviser at SAP, is also speaking at this year’s AOG 2025 conference. Situated at the intersection of business and technology, SAP’s innovations are designed to directly address business challenges through the application of AI technology. In 2024, the National Bank of Angola established a partnership with SAP to implement a digital transformation project for its operations. The project replaced the bank’s legacy system and introduced new capabilities, reflecting the role that SAP innovations can play in Angola’s business environment.

Recent contracts reflect the company’s footprint in the market. In 2025, the company completed construction of the South N’dola wellhead platform for Cabinda Gulf Oil Company in Block 0. Algoa Cabinda Fabrication Services also supported the development of the Lifua-A project in Block 0.
