OPEC+ oil supply rose to 43.046 million barrels per day (bpd) in September, a 1.48% increase from August’s output, which is in line with the increment agreed upon by the group.
The OPEC data, published this Monday and cited by Lusa, is based on “secondary sources”—that is, estimates from independent institutes. These figures reveal that Saudi Arabia and Russia led the increases with rises of 248,000 and 148,000 barrels per day, which brought their national production to 9.961 million bpd and 9.321 million bpd, respectively.
The 1.48% increase in OPEC+ oil production in September compared to August corresponds to approximately 630,000 barrels per day.
