The barrel of Brent crude oil, the benchmark for Angolan exports, returned to the $65 level on Monday, after having traded at $64.53 on Friday in London.
Orders for delivery in December have fluctuated between $64 and $65 dollars. This follows a price surge to $70 per barrel in the final days of September—coinciding with the settlement of November orders—which is the reference price in the Angolan Government’s 2025 State Budget (OGE).
Over a 30-day period, Brent has accumulated a gain of 0.03 percent, with the average price calculated at $66.9 per barrel.
