Manufacturing company Amarinth has received an order to supply pumps for the Agogo FPSO vessel, which will be stationed at the Agogo Integrated West Hub Development offshore Angola. Under the order, Amarinth will deliver low-lifecycle cost centrifugal pumps and associated equipment for the vessel.
Amarinth Managing Director Oliver Brigginshaw stated that the order “represents another significant milestone for Amarinth in our commitment to delivering high-performance solutions in the most demanding environments, particularly within the burgeoning FPSO market.”
The Agogo FPSO vessel is currently being constructed by FPSO manufacturer Yinson Production. Once completed, the vessel will be operated by international energy company Azule Energy with a capacity of 120,000 barrels per day. Operations are expected to commence by 2025.
